Sports Logo - "Fayetteville Comets" - 2023

This sports logo was created for a student assignment, my first go at a sports logo, in fact!

The prompt was to limit the color palette to 4 colors, create a logo for a sports team of our creation, must be in a escutcheon format, and had to design it in Adobe Illustrator. 

When choosing the colors, the only *reckless* method I used here was to find a color combination that was very futuristic and space-themed. Imagining this galactic "spaceball" team to not be any ordinary sports team, but one more of the sci-fi theme with unusual (for us) team colors. 

Here you will also see the Fayetteville Comet's mascot, Cosmo! He's pretty hyped, especially for the home run balls that are hit all the way out of orbit!
